You will get an update report on your child's progress each week with tips on supporting their learning.
Short amounts of homework daily helps your child consolidate learning. The tutors can also help with your child's homework from school.
Fiona's tutors are mainly young people with lots of ability to relate to kids.
The program is also good for kids with a learning disability as it's tailored to the child.
My son was in the program through 2 years of kindergarten during the pandemic and we saw great gains.

Our 13 year old son has been participating in DeliberateU Tutoring for over 2 years. We value the consistency, the responsiveness and the flexibility that they provide through their teaching. Joining Deliberate-U was the best academic decision I made. I made honour roll in grades 11 and 12, which is something I would not have achieved on my own.

Strengthened his fundamental skills, his self-confidence and his enjoyment of school

My son had learning disabilities. He was struggling in school , he was discouraged and frustrated. Fiona recommended a return to basics to strengthen his fundamental phonics, spelling and math skills. Since then, spelling has improved more than 3 grade levels and in his most recent report card his Language Arts teacher commented that he … “has mastered reading and writing skills that identify him as an effective communicator!” His self-confidence his improved tremendously along with his enjoyment of school. Fiona has a gentle and patient approach to teaching that puts her students at ease. She tailors her tutoring style to suit the needs of the student (my son is a visual learner) and ensures sessions are fun and interesting. We are very grateful for everything Fiona has done to help our son.
